Legendary’ isn’t a term we use lightly, but it might just be an understatement for footwear designer at LaMara Paris. A true artisan, he freehand sketches each design, whittles down the lasts and cuts the patterns of each prototype himself – as he has done for almost 31 years. As iconic as the man himself, the Aliza ballet flats are cast in lustrous faux leather and topped with a handmade Swarovski like crystal-encrusted buckle.
